Update: Three People Hospitalized Following Crash Inside Longest Tunnel On PA Turnpike

A crash closed the Tuscarora Tunnel for nearly two hours on Thursday, Dec. 8, around 8 a.m. authorities say.

The longest tunnel on the PA Turnpike was briefly stopped in both directions as crews worked at the scene of the crash between the exits for Fort Littleton and Willow Hill.

The crash involved a tractor-trailer, pick-up truck, and box truck, officials told CBS21.

Three people were hurt and sent to area hospitals, according to WGAL.
